Job Description

Full-time/Year-round & Full-time/Seasonal Line Cook positions are now available at Kiawah Island Club venues! Cooks will work at one of our two fine-dining restaurants featuring menus designed exclusively by Consulting Chef Tom Colicchio of Manhattan's famous Gramercy Tavern and Craft eateries. Line cooks will prepare food according to recipe specifications and the Executive Chef’s guidelines in a timely and efficient manner. Good knowledge of hot food preparation, stocks, sauces, vegetable cookery and meat temperatures is a must. Applicants must have experience in saut, grill, broil, steam, fry and salad stations. Knife skills and cooking terms knowledge are essential. Knowledge and adherence of sanitation rules is required.

Skills/Requirements

2-3 years of previous experience and a culinary degree is strongly preferred. Candidates with previous experience in fine dining, resort or private club venues are encouraged to apply.
