Through Blackbaud’s corporate websites, you will help thousands of nonprofit organizations connect with the technology solutions and services they need to advance their missions
 
You’ll oversee website information architecture, functionality, and maintenance to maintain and exceed corporate goals. Advanced knowledge of web sites and Internet applications using HTML/XHTML, PHP, Javascript, ASP and CSS and a working knowledge content management systems (especially WordPress, Blackbaud NetCommunity or Internet Solutions) will contribute to your success. Ample knowledge of creative/web design principals; understanding of web servers and hosting platforms; the ability to hand code a site from scratch and experience integrating websites with email campaigns will also ensure your success.
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage day-to-day content management and graphics production relating to the overall maintenance and administration of one or more corporate website(s).
  • Perform on-going assessment and develop long-range plan for continuous improvement of website(s); and improve user experience to improve function for demand generation.
  • Integrate website with other information systems and perform configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Advise and implement best practices and innovation to more successfully leverage corporate website(s) for demand generation and lead conversion.
  • Provide technical support for website problems and maximize website utilization.
  • Monitor site usage, perform assessment, and report statistics.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new website performance products.
  • Assist marketing and programs team in using Blackbaud’s website to full potential
  • Advise marketing and programs on interactive best practices to support integration and success of lead generation and conversion.
  • Assist in developing the processes and infrastructure necessary to streamline and scale the team

  • Contribute creative concepts to assigned projects and may suggest editorial revisions or design treatments for assigned editing assignments

 
 
 
 Requirements
Required Experience & Skills
  • Strong understanding of web development concepts (HTML/XHTML, PHP, Javascript, ASP and CSS)
  • Strong abilities with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Blackbaud NetCommunity, Convio CMS, etc) and Client/Constituent Relationship Management and email marketing and CRM systems (Marketo and Salesforce.com)
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics), measurement techniques and reporting standards preferred
  • Familiarity with B2B website best practices, e-marketing and SEO preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required, with course work in computer programming, communications graphic design and/or related areas preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, project and people management skills.
